Advance Housing's executive leadership team provides operational, financial, and strategic leadership to our dedicated and experienced staff and support to our Board.

With senior executive level experience in a number of service driven industries John has a strong and diverse mix of senior strategic and operational business and leadership abilities. These include cultural change management, staff development, multi-site operations expertise, community engagement, advanced financial management skills, occupational safety and health knowledge, developing and delivering strategic initiatives, and process improvement.
These achievements were recognized in 2010 when John won a WA Business News 40 under 40 Award.
John has overall responsibility for organisational performance and provides strategic leadership to AHL’s staff, undertakes strategic project development, and acts as company secretary and public officer.
John is highly ethical, enthusiastic, articulate, and is passionate about results for Advance Housing’s tenants and the communities we serve.
Karen Marwick
Corporate Services ManagerKaren has over 20 years experience in the financial management of community housing.
Karen is highly skilled in financial modelling and analysis, management accounting, corporate planning, project development, regulatory and quality assurance, HR, and statutory reporting.
Karen is responsible for all corporate services and compliance functions and is a vital support to both the CEO and Board in meeting Advance Housing’s strategic goals.
