Who we are
As a not-for-profit housing provider and a Department of Communities Preferred Provider, we deliver affordable housing solutions and support that transform lives, communities and our region.
Since we started out in 1997, we’ve grown and evolved to meet the changing housing needs of people in Albany and across the Great Southern region. Today, we have a portfolio of more than 400 social, affordable, disability, seniors, youth and student homes – a portfolio we’re continuing to expand and diversify.
Individualised approach.
Our tried-and-tested policies and procedures – which we’re always looking to improve – are all designed to ensure we find the right home and provide or refer clients to the right support services, in the right way.
We do this by ensuring every member of our friendly, caring team has the support they need too. So, from our interactions with tenants to the supportive workplace we’ve created, it’s all about thinking and caring about the individual.
Affordable homes that transform lives.
We believe everyone deserves to have a stable home. And so, through innovation and collaborative partnerships, it’s our mission to increase the choice of quality, affordable housing options for people who might otherwise fall through the gaps in the housing market.
We’re a safety net. For people who can’t afford a private rental. For people with disability. For seniors looking to retire and age in place. For people experiencing mental health challenges. For people fleeing domestic violence or who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Thriving communities and brighter futures.
As a community-based housing provider, we’re a for-purpose, not-for-profit organisation. This means that, while our business needs to be sustainable, it’s not just about the bottom line for us. The properties we manage and build are just a means to an end to improve the lives of our tenants and strengthen our communities.
It’s about providing affordable homes, stable tenancies and individualised relationships that transform lives. It’s about creating strong, vibrant, thriving communities. It’s about building a brighter future for our region.
